"After almost a year of dealing with my 2015 Subaru Legacy randomly overheating and shop after shop wanting over $4k !!! to do the heads, I finally gave Lugs n Plugs a try on a recommendation from a friend though I was still warry. I mean how could some mobile mechanic know more than not just one shop but multiple shops including some that really only specialize in Subarus? Well I finally decided it could not hurt to spend $125 on a diagnostic from this mobile mechanic before spending thousands on a head job. I am glad I did!!!, It has been well over four months now without a single issue, well besides my axles which I have been waiting on because of the overheating. Ed found I had a bad water pump, thermostat, radiator and most importantly a couple O rings? under the intake that were all bad. He pointed out every issue and why it was bad, made sense to me, if its leaking then surely its a no brainer. My radiator was busted at the seems, the water pump was draining out of a hole on the bottom and the thermostat not reacting to heat. He showed me with a really bright light the leaks under my intake, why did no other shop show this to me? I normally do not write reviews let alone long reviews but please Subaru owners be wary of a shop going straight to it being a head issue! These shops were trying to take advantage of me and likely you too. Do yourself a favor and at least get the only opinion that matters before spending thousands like I almost did."
